nice to meet you!
I’m Edgar Dichos, Jr., founder of GSD Films and Stills and a photographer and videographer in Cagayan de Oro. I serve clients throughout the city, its neighboring areas, and across the Philippines.
Before I ventured into photography and videography, I worked in the journalism and media industry. It was during that time I discovered the joy of capturing stories through a camera lens. I find joy and fulfillment in turning someone else’s special moments into timeless memories. That’s why we can’t wait to help you preserve the moments that matter most to you.
My office is where I live in Cagayan de Oro with my beautiful wife, Maureen.

That feeling is the heart of our inspiration and the reason behind our name, Gentle Smile Diary. Also known as GSD Films and Stills, our goal is to capture your special moments and create timeless treasures that bring joy every time you revisit them, whether you’re reminiscing with your children, friends, or family.
Funny enough, we’re sometimes mistaken for a dental clinic! We’ve even received a call from a company asking if we offer dental services. (Sorry, we can’t whiten your teeth, but we can brighten your memories!)
